What is a Drawing Walk?
A Drawing Walk is a combination of city tour and drawing workshop.
Along with stories about the neighbourhood, the walks are filled with sketching exercises. These are often quick and playful, and your personal touch on the drawing is what we’re looking for. On a Drawing Walk we experiment and try out different approaches to drawing, and maybe most importantly: We use drawing as a way to see the city. Drawing our surroundings forces us to sharpen our eyes and look closer. With pen and paper in our hands we discover details of the city, we usually would pass unnoticed.
Whether you haven't been drawing since your childhood, or your sketchbook is one of your essential belongings, you are warmly welcome to join. I will share my tips and tricks and guide you through the exercises - and the city.
